Our blog title, "Touring to MOORing" reflects our desire to see the USA via motor coach (TOUR), but to then transition to a live-aboard trawler and travel the waterways of the Great Loop (https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/great-loop.html) and the Caribbean Islands (MOOR).

It is a long ride through west Texas to anything (only 5 hours after stopping for diesel, but seems like forever)! We experienced a drastic increase in diesel prices, as well, coming through west Texas. All went fine though and we made it to our destination for a seven day stay.
